Is Your Office Really Clean Just By Using Scents or Sanitizes?

Just because your workplace smells good and clean, it does not really mean that it actually is. Most offices use clean and fresh scents to give the best impression about the cleanliness of their property, yet once you look at the floor, you will notice that everything is not as hygienic as the way the place smells. Some people tend to assume that the workplace that smells clean should be clean for the reason that they have used the scented cleaning products that are often used at home and makes everyone forge a link between scent and cleanliness. But, there isn’t a direct link between those things. Since an office smells flowers, lemons or anything else for this matter, it does not mean that it’s clean. Sanitizer and Its Importance If the cleaning products do not contain bacterial ingredients or sanitizers and scents, it’s useless in terms of making the surfaces clean. The cleaning products that are scented only will serve to spread bacteria around the different surfaces that are applied to without killing the harmful bacteria. Only the products that contain sanitizing agents can ensure that the surfaces are clean by killing bacteria and removing grime and dirt that could cause sickness in your commercial property. Triggering Allergies Several people are allergic to scented cleaning materials, regardless if they contain antibacterial properties or not, and when they’re used in the workplace, they could cause irritation and allergic reactions. Recently, the products that contain limonene have been a trend in the office environments. This limonene is basically a bacteriostatic cleaner that’s natural and organic. This is derived from a citrus peel. Limonene has also great solvent powers, combined with strong smell of citrus, yet when compared to some cleaning products, the smell is front the active ingredients in comparison to coming from scents that have been added to provide clean smell.
